HOUSTON, Texas<\/strong> (Oct. 18, 2023)<\/strong> \u2013 <\/strong>Phillips 66\u00ae Aviation<\/a>, a refiner and supplier of jet fuels and avgas to private, commercial and military aviation, awarded a $23,460 donation to Corporate Angel Network<\/a> (CAN), the only charitable organization in the U.S. whose sole mission is to help cancer patients access the best possible medical treatment by arranging free air travel on corporate aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phillips 66 Aviation presented the donation at the 2023 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), as part of its annual sponsorship of the Corporate Angel Award. The award recognizes corporations and flight departments that have demonstrated outstanding dedication as participants of CAN. With over 500 participating major corporations, the award recognizes four corporate flight departments each year. This year\u2019s recipients include Hertz, Savoya, Nationwide and Nestle Purina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2010, Phillips 66 Aviation has donated more than $260,000 to CAN and has helped numerous families receive access to critical care. Corporate Angel Network has completed 67,000 cancer patient flights since its inception in 1981, averaging more than 130 flights per month or more than 1,600 flights per year.
