HOUSTON \u2013 (Nov. 18, 2024) \u2013 <\/strong>Phillips 66\u00ae<\/sup> Aviation has introduced its inaugural Phillips 66\u00ae<\/sup> Aviation<\/em> Safe Sky Award<\/em>, a prestigious recognition for branded FBOs that set new standards in aviation fuel safety performance, innovation and leadership. This unique accolade reflects the company\u2019s commitment to elevating aviation fuel safety standards and aims to inspire the broader aviation community to reach the same high level of excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeing recognized for this award signifies a dedication to high standards and a proactive approach to maintaining fuel management safety,\u201d said Sunny Lopez, Manager, Phillips 66\u00ae<\/sup> Aviation. \u201cIt acknowledges Phillips 66\u00ae<\/sup> branded FBOs that go above and beyond regulatory requirements to ensure the safety and well-being of their operations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a leader in the aviation fuel industry, Phillips 66\u00ae<\/sup> Aviation is committed to promoting and recognizing excellence in fuel safety practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and setting a benchmark for operational standards within the industry. This commitment is demonstrated through various aviation fuel safety initiatives developed by Phillips 66\u00ae<\/sup> Aviation experts, including the \u2018Save a Life, Verify Fuel Type\u2019<\/a> public service misfueling prevention campaign, as well as online resources and training materials available on TrustedFuel.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FBOs will be evaluated across three key categories that define excellence in the general aviation fuel industry: aviation fuel safety performance<\/strong>, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest safety protocols and exceeding industry standards; program innovation<\/strong>, recognizing forward-thinking initiatives and implementation of innovative fuel safety programs or procedures that set new benchmarks in the industry; and leadership<\/strong>, honoring those who foster a safety culture and motivate both staff and customers to prioritize fuel safety and operational excellence at every level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phillips 66\u00ae<\/sup> branded FBOs can nominate their FBO starting December 3, 2024. The nomination period will close on February 7, 2025. Honorees will be announced and celebrated at an exclusive event during the 2025 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in New Orleans. Each will be acknowledged and receive a distinguished award, a proud testament to their commitment to aviation fuel safety, which they can prominently display at their FBO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
