It reflects the daily commitment of the people in the field and in the control rooms who make safety the foundation of everything we do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Highlights of 2024 performance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>50% reduction in injuries from serious incidents <\/strong>due to an increased focus on higher-risk activities, proactive intervention and learning from previous incidents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>36% reduction in total vehicle accidents<\/strong>, driven by enhanced driver safety programs and real-time monitoring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Continued improvement in pipeline safety<\/strong>, with a reduction in the number of pipeline incidents and barrels released per thousand miles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zero incidents impacting people and the environment (IPEs)<\/strong> \u2014 a significant milestone in Phillips 66\u2019s commitment to operational excellence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deployment of advanced technologies<\/strong>, including real-time transient modeling and next-generation leak detection systems, which have substantially decreased the risk of pipeline failures and leaks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to these safety performance improvements, Phillips 66 was recognized for the implementation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.api.org\/news-policy-and-issues\/news\/2024\/03\/28\/api-publishes-rp-1185-pipeline-community-engagement\">API\u2019s Recommended Practice 1185<\/a> through its Midstream Public Engagement Guidelines and Assessment Tools, reinforcing trust and transparency with stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSafety is a choice we make every day \u2014 and results like this show what\u2019s possible when we stay focused on what matters most, including how we engage with the communities and stakeholders who count on us to operate responsibly,\u201d said Baldridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator aligncenter has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-psx-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-54caef11e373373651f5a4e4c58b7a76\"><em>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillips66.com\/midstream\/\">Phillips 66 Midstream operations<\/a> page to learn about their assets, operations and public safety programs.
