First responders in central Texas have been working around the clock since the devastating and deadly flash flooding began on July 4. To support ongoing recovery efforts, Phillips 66 is making a $250,000 donation to The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The loss of life and widespread devastation in central Texas affects us all deeply.  We want to reach out to provide comfort and support. Phillips 66 has Midstream operations in nearby communities and a strong presence across the state of Texas. All personnel are safe and accounted for. In the wake of the disaster, several Midstream employees are already stepping up, volunteering to ensure that first responders have hot meals to keep them going through long hours. We will be tracking other employee volunteer efforts and following up with stories of impact and gratitude as the recovery process continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTexas is a family. Almost everyone I\u2019ve talked to knows someone who is affected by this,\u201d said Courtney Meadows, Phillips 66 Social Impact Manager. \u201cWe want to make sure that employees who want to make a personal donation take advantage of our matching gift program to double their impact.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, our headquarters building will be lit in green this week to honor the lives lost and those affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
